Protect CHOICE for pregnant women
VOTE NO on Proposition O because Proposition O would:
- Target life-affirming pregnancy and primary care clinics that help women, children, and the entire family without regard to ability to pay.
- Would use taxpayer funds to install signs outside of SF’s two life-affirming state licensed health clinics, opening them to more abuse and possibly violence.
- Would establish a Department of Public Health website listing all abortion providers and listing and singling out life-affirming state licensed health clinics, disparaging them for not providing or referring for abortion.
- Would change SF zoning to make it easier to establish abortion clinics in commercial areas and allow residentially zoned ‘corner lots’ to house abortion clinics.
- Establish an “Abortion Provider Appreciation Day” in the city
- Block city funding from “any reproductive health facility that does not provide or refer for “comprehensive health care”, which includes abortion and contraception.
- Further, Proposition O is full of redundant detail and rhetoric because California voters approved abortion until birth in passing California Proposition One in 2022.
- Establishing a fund for both private and City dollars (if appropriated later) to go to paying for abortion and related services

VOTE NO to protect CHOICE for pregnant women, mothers, and families
VOTE NO to support women’s right to choose life by giving women the option of life-affirming health care and support without regard to ability to pay.
In a city that holds to the values of equality, nonviolence, and nondiscrimination, it is wrong to show prejudice towards health centers who for reasons of conscience do not refer for nor provide abortions. The clinics targeted by this ballot proposition provide low and no-cost health services, material aid, education and a support network. These small clinics are for the community and by the community. They are not operated by big business corporations. These centers deserve the right to continue serving the San Francisco Bay Area without fear of being treated differently. Stand up for the equality of community health centers and health care choices by VOTING NO ON SAN FRANCISCO PROPOSITION O.
